Wordy Wednesday: March 5, 2014

The picture I posted early today is of my cousin and her mother (my aunt), and it is very much what I’ve imagined for our whole lives for her wedding day.  Later this month I will post about the wedding, and the experience, but I have to say being there, in the second grade Sunday School Room tying young women into bridesmaids dresses is pretty much everything I thought it would be- and that was beautiful.

That being said, I am back here, at work, on Wordless Wednesday, wishing it was Go-Home Friday.  I’m tired, I’m frustrated, and I’m bored.  I have a sore throat.  We have extra special visitors who are rapidly outstaying their welcome (through no fault of their own). I ate most of my lunch before lunch- and I’m still hungry.  In short I am a cranky pants today.

But I want to be greatful.  I want to sing glory be, and celebrate life… (I’ve been listening to the Duggar Family’s new book “Growing Up Duggar: It’s All About Relationships” and it makes me feel a little like a bad Christian)… but really I just want to crawl into some jeans, and a comfortable sweater and drink hot coco.

Lets do this- to keep things less depressing around here 5 happy things to share:

  1. The Muppets
  2. Huffington Post’s post on Happy Things
  3. The New VlogBrother’s Production  “How To Adult”
  4. TLC’s Little Couple and Season 8- and their opportunity to bring home a new daughter
  5. The Vitamin String Quartet Pandora Station, they play “classical” music that is covers of contemporary top 40ish.

How’s your Wordy Wednesday?  And what makes you happy?

Let me know.  Loves, Mae
