J is for Jumbled

Jumbled

I am the worst Scrabble player
in the family by far
Juxtaposition!
which is funny given I’ve got my
letters in the written word
Junk!
give me a handful
of tiny wood blocks
Jibberish!
and all their meaning
and points are lost
Jigsaw!
Im good at games
dont get me wrong
Jilted!
I cant count the times
that I’ve won
Jeopardy!
Call me the queen
of trivial pursuit and life
Jealous!
But never give me tiles
and expect me to be a
Jenius!

For the month of April I’ve committed to writing 26 poems, falling into the Alphabet.  To learn more about my project, check out my introduction.  To learn more about the A-to-Z Challenge visit www.a-to-zchallenge.com.

    • Chrys, I’m miserable at Scrabble! There’s something different about the letters being all scrambled together that makes it impossible for me to come up with a word longer than three letters. Suddenly one little board game thrusts me back into “Cat in the Hat” territory! Thankfully, I can usually beat my family at Trivial Pursuit Disney Edition (a game at which we are very very serious about).
