Daughter, sister, friend. Blogger, cooker, reader, writer, Girl Scout Leader.
I do things I shouldn’t, I say things I shouldn’t, I eat things you wouldn’t.
But that’s me.
Apostrophes and dashes and commas galore- I could be called a disappointment to my English Degree, if the fantastic Jesuits at Seattle University (uh…. go Redhawks!- that’s how you do team spirit, right?) hadn’t taught me more about life than literature. My parents named me for the women of our past, and the chance to be a woman of my own (one name from all the relatives, one name from none).
I scream and shout and fight and rant and use additive sentence structure way too often.
But I also knit and quilt and throw tea parties with little girls, and live with my family- because that’s what good girls do.
This is me.
